Registered Veterinary Technician
Hello, I am an avid cat lover who has had the pleasure of caring and helping animals for the past 26 years now. I currently have one indoor cat and two feral outdoor cats.
I hope your furry friends stay healthy but I will be here to help care for them when they need it. Take care and see you soon.
Hi! My name is Maira Avila. I have been working at Ardenwood Pet Hospital for 8 years now as a veterinary assistant. I enjoy working with both dogs and cats. I have one fur child. He is an English lab/pit mix named Fido (aka crazy puppy). I finished school last May to become an RVT, and I am working on becoming licensed soon. I look forward to providing care for your pets. See you soon.
I have been working at Ardenwood Pet Hospital for almost four years now as a veterinary assistant. I graduated from UC Berkeley with a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Environmental Biology and am currently applying to veterinary school. Apart from working with dogs and cats here at our clinic, I also cared for giraffes at the Oakland Zoo and help with squirrel research with a psychology lab on campus.
I have a toy poodle named Callie and a chubby little Holland lop named Churro. Our clinic has the most friendly and caring staff and we look forward to providing your fur babies with the best care possible.
First of all, I would like to say, hey there, and welcome to this site.
A little about myself: I have been a veterinary assistant for seven years. I recently graduated from Calstate University Eastbay with a degree in Biology. I am currently in the process of studying for my technician license. I am the proud owner of three beautiful fur babies that go by the names of Athena, Peshou, and Hodor.
I hope you choose our hospital as your primary pet care provider and I look forward to seeing you at our hospital.
Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Worker
I have been working at Ardenwood Pet Hospital for a year and as a half as a veterinary assistant and kennel worker. I have a few pets of my own including a cocker spaniel named Holly-Belle, and my fish—Zuko, Bing, Kirby, No-face, Peach, and P. Shermin. I love working with animals and am working towards becoming a RVT. I look forward to working with you and your pets at our hospital.
